Well I haven't had any alcohol this weekend, not on Friday night Saturday or tonight - so there! True I had plenty on Thursday which carried me through Friday night but none Sat or Sun, not bad eh? Have spent a busy day at the river painting blades as well as 2 hours rowing, plus an hour at the gym and 2 hours gardening or at least hacking knackered old shrubs to peices and burning them. Got quite a little furnace going and in no time too - there's a knack to it if you haven't got fire lighters at least and I'm glad to say I can still do aspot of pyrotechnics pretty darn well. All Ihave to do now is 2 loads of washing, ironing and bed. Amongst the debortuary lies a sensible gal really.....................

Vina Sol

Despite meeting the man of my dreams and secretly promising myself that I am going to tone the drinking down so he doesn't run a mile I still managed to get semi blotto last night. My good intentions left the building without me after the 3rd glass of Vina Sol. If they didn't make it so damn nice I woudn't drink it - I know I wouldn't. My drinking is not a confidence boost or a determined effort to have a laugh, it's purely a taste issue.

I have to say I was very well behaved, although I'm bound to have woken my neighbour up whilst making a very late ham sandwich in the kitchen directly above her bedroom. Apparently according to her I unload the dishes from the dishwasher really loudly as well as walking across the floor like an elephant. Well I do like to make my presence known. ...

Was a good night and everyone put in a concerted effort to get properly drunk since it's bank holiday today. I have done nothing except watched Heros and am watching the clock waiting for the big boy to finish his shift so I can call him.

Face of the planet

English: Illuminatable Earth globe, Columbus, ...Image via Wikipedia

According to my mother I diappeared off the face of the planet, as she put it, in explanation for being unable to contact me for less than 72 hours.......72 hours well spent I might say dropping my boy off with his Dad in London and then returning to the arms of a more senior boy whom I met at the party - hence my recent long absence from blogging. It's scary I have to say, feeling this way about someone you (technically) don't really know but would like to know inside out. I am so aware that I rush these things usually and that I have a little baggage for someone who does not have any. So what do they get out of a relationship with a baggage woman? Great sex? Obviously. Great cooking? I am a natural - at beans on toast. Great conversation? When I know how to pronounce adam-ant correctly of course! What else? Ermmmm. We'll see what happens, I am the eternal optimist which is why I rush and blunder so I am currently giving myself a pep talk on the merits of holding back just a little and refraining from telling everything about my eclectic personality and the time I wet myself in front of the class when I was 13.
